Frankly I haven't missed Vector since V4 came along and it did affect frame rate previously.

As I mainly fly in Orbx Regions does it operate there / is it useful there?

And if I have it installed will it affect my frame rates whether it is contributing or not?

Thanks for any guidance.

Thanks Orbx for giving us a reason to report sick on monday...

Now I can take the 777 for a walk without ranting about how basic the coastlines and roads are... lol

The regions have their own vector data so Orbx Vector doesn't do anything in those areas.

Elsewhere, your frame rate will depend on your Vector settings/P3D settings/where you are in the world/your hardware. Outside of urban areas with lots of roads, I don't find that Vector has any noticeable frame rate hit.

I'm more interested in getting the airports. I've gotten used to not having Vector.

I've experienced the same thing.

Oh no, that doesn't sound good.

That has always been a pet peeve of mine, didn't know Vector was the culprit.

Just a personal opinion, but I think Vector 1.52 has just enhanced my opinion of P3D v4. No FPS hit, no elevation hits, and very smooth. This is just my opinion after a flight in Southern Alaska.

If you're talking about FTX Southern Alaska I think you will find that its exactly the same as it was before you installed Vector

Well thank goodness for this. Almost back to the Full Monty of Orbx toys. Airports apparently coming very soon now, by all accounts.
