Best powered hub to power saitek instruments?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I received a reply from Logitech [Saitek] today saying 2.0 hub needs to deliver 4 amps to be able to power more than 4 devices. I bought Belkin 7-port and can not find anywhere on the box or google search what the output is. Have also read that Saitek stuff operates with 2.0 and not 3.0 hubs?

Am a bit lost here. I don't know much about hubs or what to get to power 13 devices. Have 4 Belkins and cannot get all saitek FIPs to run.

Suggestions appreciated!!!

Thanks Josh!

Do you know if the output side is 4 amps as Logitech suggests?

I use this Anker model successfully with a Saitek Cessna Pro Flight yoke, Cessna Pro Flight pedals and a Saitek Multipanel.  Also have a small USB 3.0 hard drive connected to it at the same time.  Works fine.  If you read the description it supports a combined amps draw to 3.4A.  I might suggest you use a pair of similar powered hubs instead of attempting to use just one with a larger number of ports.
