PTA Apply Preset & P3D Global Settings Profile Interaction?

Recommended Posts

I have some confusion as regards the interaction between applying a PTA Preset & P3D's Scenario/Options/Graphics/Display Global Settings/Profile implementation.

What is the correct order to run these routines?

At the moment I open PTA 1st, select a Preset & Apply it.

Then I open P3D & the Scenario screen comes up. After doing the Vehicle/ Flight Plan/Time adjustments, I open Options.

I then go to Graphics & then Display Global Settings. At that point I can select a "Profile" & ok that.

I am not sure if the PTA preset affects the P3D Profiles, & whether I should be adjusting both of them, or just run the PTA preset & leave the P3D Profiles alone?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

P3D profiles (in the sim) are completely different to PTA profiles.

Once you've applied the PTA preset, you can do whatever you like in the sim settings, the only thing that will really change the visuals are the HRD settings.
