P3Dv4 shows as running in Task Manager

For what it's worth.....I have the same problem on a fresh install of v4. No add-ons at all. The sim started twice and then nada, nothing, zip.....frustrating.....Doug

Several things to try - delete the p3d.cfg file, rename the dll.xml file, rename the scenerycfg fle, delete all shaders. 

A corrupt file is trying to load - trying to isolate which one is the problem. Just take it step by step.

Vic, thanks for another way to do things.  I am sure glad that I am not the only one with this problem though, not wishing problems on anyone else, I just don't feel alone.  I will try what you suggest as well and report back. Hopefully we can get a definitive solution and answer and the various developers can implement it.  Harv

Had the exact same issue yesterday. Unloaded all scenerys and P3D. cfg and let it rebuild helped.

For me the problem was RAASPRO in dll.xml and when I remove it p3dv4.2 load correctly now. Its maybe RAASPRO who is not compatible with the v4, however I upgraded last version of PDMG v3 who include it.
