TileProxy + P3Dv4 no longer possible, downloadable photoscenery alternatives? With overlays?

Since p3d v4 is now 64bit.. i've come to realize that tileproxy just wont work.. there is no way to run a legacy 32bit mode to connect to the tileproxy service.. unless tileproxy is revived and an updated version comes along.

What is everyone using as an alternative?  FSearth tiles or something similar.. is there anything that allows for an overlay like with Ortho with XP?

I'm thinking of testing of fsearth tiles for now anyway.

There is a lot of photoscenery on the market :

Mega Scenery Earth , FranceVFR etc

I am afraid Orthophotos with autogen/OSM are exclusive to X-Plane.

This may be stating the obvious but have you asked in the Tile Proxy forum itself?

I took a look there first, its mostly a dead area these days.  The sourceforge last update was 2015.. i think doa.

I have many of those solutions, but i'm looking for freeware solutions like fsearth tiles, but maybe something a bit better or with better water masking at least.

On overlay/autogen.. i had spotted sceneproc but it appears to be highly involved and not just a download and add a layer sort of thing.

There are some of the 3rd party tree solutions i had found in the past, those at least give you the trees.  IE: Treeline North America
