Keep getting a Net FrameWork Error

Recommended Posts

Using Windows 10 64 bit with v4. Everything is running fine til I try to install Orbx NA OLC.  I can install global, trees and lights no problem but if I restart my pic that's when the errors start.  It's always Net FrameWork Error followed by G2D.dll Error in event viewer.  I am running NetFrame work 4.7 .  Could that be the issue?  Does it need to be 4.6.2?

See page 26, AVSIM CTD Guide (link in my signature).  You need to run the Microsoft.net Repair Tool (link to tool is in the guide).

Best regards,

Jim

Hey Jim thanks for the reply I have tried that already with no luck.  I am baffled with this one.

I did find it odd that .net framework isn't listed in programs and features in control panel.

It won't.  It is part of the Windows OS.  Look in Windows/Microsoft.net/Framework and you should see all of the dotnets installed.  The AVSIM CTD Guide has suggestions that fixed many other members issues with the G2D error.  The suggestions were taken from all flight simulation websites and placed in the guide.

I would run the Windows Repair utility suggested in the CTD Guide.  You are looking at a system problem and nothing to do with P3D or Orbx.

Best regards,

Jim
