Where does the livery .ptp files go

Installed the DC-6 and tried to download and install some liveries. Downloads fine but when I click on the add button it comes up with an open file dialogue box with no .ptp files listed. Where does the operations center save the files.

The operations centre should download and install the liveries by itself.

That Add button is to install liveries from sources other than PMDG OC downloads, such as AVSIM library.  In which case you would save the download from the library into a folder of your choice, probably expand the compressed folder first, then use the Add button and browse to that location. 

The is an OC Manual that includes all of this and more.  The OC Manual is referred to in the DC6 Introduction but that would be easy to miss.
