Shaders cache cleared

Below you will find the main directory my P3D V4 is located in. For some reason, the program attempted to apply the presets to my SSD volume C:

PTA version : 2.52
Prepar3D main directory: <A:\Prepar3D V4\>
Target Prepar3D version: <4.0.28 build 21686>
Prepar3D main config file: <C:\Users\derri\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.cfg>
Shaders cache directory: <C:\Users\derri\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders\>
Shaders backup directory: <C:\Users\derri\AppData\Local\Temp\wz045b\SHADERS_BACKUP\>

I do greatly appreciate any assistance that you provide.

Matt

If you could make a procedure for users to restore their sim back to base before installing PTA . it would be helpful. Trying to help out a friend with the same issue here. Prepar3D v4.

Thanks,  Sir/.

You need to reinstall the P3D Client. We're not allowed to distribute the default P3D shaders with PTA due to some licensing issues with LM. Once you reinstall the client, make a backup of the shaders folder in the root of P3D before you start using PTA, then if things break you can just overwrite with your backed up ones.
