Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

does someone know, how much fuel the 737-700WL can carry?

When possible in tons.

Thanks.

Load up the aircraft, go to the fuel page on the FMC.

Thanks, but i only have P3D v4 and I don't have the 737-700 obviously. That's why I'm asking.

Because it has not yet been released. There have been any number of posts, threads and Pinned Notices on this.

Ah my apologies Phillipp, your question makes a lot more sense with that info! Internet says 46,063 L. Not sure about in tons.

I am not asking about the release, or did I? I know that it will be out sooner or later. But at the moment I can't look it up by myself.  I'm asking, because I have to plan some routes for our virtual airline.

Back of the envelope calculation from my L figure above gives approx. 36850 KG.

So 46,063 L would be 20,893 tons, if i calculate this correctly. If this is the PMDG 737-700 you would've helped me out here. :)

no problem at all @vc10man

Not sure how you got your maths, 46,063L x 0.8 = 36,850 KG = 36.85 Ton = 40.62 US Ton

The original litre figure is from a source online for a 737-700WL, not direct from sim. Not at my sim PC right now so can't check but thought I'd give you a close figure.

My other source said, the PMDG 737-700WL can carry about 16t fuel (doesn't sound right to me). I remembered something about 25t... Now I'm completely confused.

And wikipedia says capacity is 26,022 litres which is 20,800 KG!!!

Edit: Found another source for 21t
