Just a question. Is this a FINAL release or just a BETA release? I've updated thru the installer (not checking the beta box) and I'm not getting any update.

Open your scenery_packs.ini and edit it with a text editor. Move the "new" KLAS under your Glitter Gulch, or add the prefix _DISABLED to it to prevent it from suppressing your Glitter Gulch.

I tried downloading and installing KLFI scenery from the updated airports list, did as the Read Me says dragged and dropped into the Custom Scenery folder, nothing different shows, no buildings, hangers, nothing, any ideas ?

It's not officially released yet. It's only release candidate 1. You have to opt in the betas to get it. Topic title is misleading, unfortunately.

The main difference is night textures and the way the buildings are modeled. This is how the default Vegas strip looks at night in 11.05r1 (+reshade: sharp clear HDR preset)

When getting airports from gateway, there may be 2d and 3d versions, Onl teh 3d versions have the hangers etc.

Ok, understand now, but if the downloadable scenery doesn't have hangers and buildings jetways whats the point ?

It does have all the scenery of the airport plus the strip is better than the DL available imo, jetways are being worked on by another member to get them working with the default scenery as well.

You are correct! I demand that Laminar will not release any more landmarks until they have done ALL of them (worldwide!).

I guess some people do not get it. X-Plane is a society of talented people who some of them put up there work for free. So airports are always updated and will continue to grow.
