Feature request: Scenery-only view

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use a Saitek-based hardware panel (driven by SAPD.neXt) which works perfect with FSW. At least during cruise, I would prefer a view of the scenery only. The minimum I can get now is the cone-only view. Others sims (FSX, Prepar3d and XP) allow a scenery-only view.

Would it be possible it implement this?

Thanks and kind regards, Michael

Hello, to register in camera.cfg (AppData, Roaming), I found the same views as in FSX-SE, for me it is perfect. It remains that Dovetail to add these lines.
Greetings.

Thanks a lot to both of you. That's indeed what I am looking for. I will try it tonight and write back afterwards.

Kind regards, Michael

One caveat: If you use the C&D checklists, then when you close the checklist window it might throw you into the 2D camera view, even with the CycleHidden option turned on (which might be a bug?).

Altering the Camera cfg does nothing for me when I was trying to adjust the zoom levels.  Point I am making is that DTG may have made it so it cannot be altered.

I added the entry and it does exactly what I was looking for. One million thanks.
