[28JUL17] Updates for 737, 747, 777 and (finally!) the PMDG 737-600/700 Expansion is available!

Ok my mistake then. Since I am running beta releases I did not get any OC notification and I thought the 777 was not yet released...

That is what happens with multiple reinstalls :)

Oh yes...747-8. I am really looking forward to that one. It's a shame the J41 will most likely not make it over to P3Dv4 as it is such a fun little bird.

Just tested - it seems there is no ground physics update for the NGX included. I'll leave her in the hangar for now as I got too much used to the superb improved ground friction model, can't stand the default behaviour. Fingers crossed the NGX will receive the new physics soon.

MICRO-UPDATE ;). To be fair the NGX friction was not as bad as the 777 was. should receive the new stuff via ops centre

PMDG are using Amazon S3 for their product downloads. Seems unlikely a few simmers would be able to overwhelm the servers. Something else must be afoot here.

Patience.

Thanks for these updates. Fingers crossed, this is the last round of reinstalling for some time, indeed. :o)

Many guys report similar issues. I am guessing as soon as the PMDG guys are up will check to see if something wrong on the server side.

Thanks for that. My bad I completely missed the thread where others had reported this. I shall go and sit in the naughty corner

Fantastic work Robert and the PMDG team.

My credit card isn't ready for the P3D 600/700 expansion but what the heck I'm buying it anyway!

Now all we have to look forward to is the 748, can we get a teaser of things to come :P

Here's a teaser right now...

Captains,

Right off the top- please be aware that we have finally released the Prepar3D v4 compatible version of the PMDG 737-600/700 NGX Expansion package.  This officially completes the process of getting our core product line into line with P3D v4- and we can begin shifting focus to evaluating the J41 (unlikely to be converted) and putting our attention back to the main focus of finishing the PMDG 747-8 as well as evaluating updates to the DC-6 for XPlane users.

Want to thank PMDG for their efforts in getting these aircraft up to speed. I enjoy flying them and that's why I am a avid supporter for this company. It did break my heart to hear that the JS41 is unlikely to make to v4, it was such a joy to fly and was my preferred and *only* GA aircraft that I used.

Thank you guys so much and keep up the good work.

Probably the OC or server has not been updated yet.

So is that normal and not a problem with my set up? Is not a problem as it runs perfect but just to know if I should reinstall again.

Hi, for the XML file: I just have opened a ticket for PMDG support. Doesn't help if everyone waits for another one to find this, right? :)

I guess you'll find out when it is back working again :)
