P3D V4 Computer specs question!

Hi! My old computer gave up a few months ago and I have been saving up ever since. Ive decided to do the switch from FSX to P3D and would just like your guys opinion on the computer parts i'm planning to buy! 

ASUS ROG STRIX X299-E Gaming Motherboard
MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Armor OC
Intel Core i7 7800X 3.5 Ghz 8.25MB
Corsair Hydro H115i
Kingston HyperX 32GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM
Samsung 850 EVO SSD 500GB
Seagate Firecuda 2TB 7200rpm 64MB
EVGA GQ 750W
Windows 10

This will cost quite a lot and would just like to know if you guys think this is sufficient? Will I have acceptable (>20fps) frames with PMDG 777, AS16 at Aerosoft LFPG for example? :)

can you bin the Seagate Firecuda 2TB 7200rpm 64MB  and get a bigger SSD... maybe the 1tb evo ?

Its your money mate, but after getting a evo 1tb 6 weeks ago id never go back to a regular HDD.

I get +20 fps with an i5 and a GTX 1060 with all my PMDG aircraft but I am at a resolution of 1920x1080. I wish I could afford a rig lie the one you are getting.

When I was building mine I got a 1TB evo ssd for P3D and and 1TB evo ssd for x-plane and went cheap it a got a scan disk ssd 500gb for the OS only. That drive is filling up at a much faster rate then I anticipated, my only advice is don't underestimate which drive you put your OS on

@Araxxos, you omitted one vital piece of info. What resolution will you be running? 1920x1080 or 4K? Otherwise system looks fine.

You should be okay with both but fps with 1080 will always be higher.

I don't think ill go 4K in the coming months so 1920x1080. :-)

In that case you'll have great fps. Better than v3.4 apparently and I'm loving that version on my system.

Yes quite sufficient. I would say, I have LFPG and that is one crushing airport. Likely because of Paris on your backdoor and the dense autogen located there. Don't be surprised if you're dipping below 20 fps with the 777 even though it is one very efficient plane fps wise. I have most settings maxed out including autogen and LFPG will give you a significant frame hit there. Of course if you modify the autogen slide and a few others it won't be as pronounced. Will you be overclocking?

I have a system similar to this, MSI X299 Pro Carbon, Intel I9-7900x. If you want to get a high end system, I would suggest getting 2x M,2 SSD and make them RAID 0 for the ultimate I/O. Also I would consider a custom water loop. As far as ram, 32GB seems too much. I have 16GB and seems to be sufficient. I would get the 32GB if you are considering creating a RAM Disk.

RAM disks require you to constantly copy the data onto the drive when you want to use it. What you need is a RAM cache, such as PrimoCache.
