P3d V4 Does not Start after updates

Hello

My Pr3d V4 was working optimally before July 28. Yesterday I installed all July 28th PMDG updates for 737 NGX, 777-200, 777-300 and 747-400.

P3D starts opening screen for few seconds and shuts off.

I uninstalled the P3D v4 client, reinstalled with same results.

There was a question of unknown publisher and risk to my computer by windows defender and I opted for run anyway for all four installations.

Also Norton AV alerts for intrusion which I have not seen before. I disabled that in Norton.

I did install the full downloads and opted for the "repair option" in all four installations.

What went wrong here?

Why repair? Instructions clearly state fully uninstall and reinstall

How? It was stated multiple times in the update thread and again in the Readme included with each installer. I beleive it was in bold text at the top of the update thread as well. It says under "steps" "Uninstall the previous product, YES. YOU. MUST. DO. THIS" that was step 1....

The only way this would happen is if you have set one of our aircraft as the default aircraft, which we have specifically advised against.

Well, here another genius, which don`t read the advises :):biggrin:

But what to do to reset the default aircraft to a non pmdg aircraft ?

My Docs > Prepared v(whateverversionyou'reusing) Files > Find the default flight name that you saved > Delete it.
