Water injection indicator lights

Recommended Posts

After the most recent update I'm still not getting the green water injection indicator lights during wet takeoffs.  Anybody else seeing the same issue?

They work correctly now.... just checked yesterday afternoon.... Are you running the engines up enough?

Yes, and it doesn't matter if the AFE does it either, no lights.

What version of the sim are you running?  I'm using FSX-SE.  Ops center says my version is 1.20.8418.

Check out the ground and takeoff procedures for the water/alcohol system on POH 179. In particular ensure you have bleed air from the system and you get the pressure indications referenced during ground checks.

I've checked the procedure a couple times now to insure I'm not missing something.  Everything checks out, water tanks full, pressure indications are good, power is up where it needs to be.  As I stated earlier, having the AFE set power for a wet takeoff gives the same results.

Could someone running FSX-SE confirm that the lights bug was indeed fixed?

I followed the procedure per the manual as well and the indicator lights do not come on. I am not sure what I am missing

How does this look? I used "after start" aircraft status option, then takeoff "wet" AFE checklist. I aborted the checklist as he was setting 30"

Agreed, I am witnessing the same behavior in FSX-SE. Running 1.20.8418 as well

I suggest everyone above submits a ticket so the tech boys can look at it

Hi guys,

Thanks for everyone's feedback. We have found and fixed this bug. It was FSX/SE specific. It will be rectified in the next update.

Try without. None of our products support DX10.
