PD Upgrading graphics cards. R9 380 4gb to ASUS STRIX 1060 6gb

Anyone know if it's worth the upgrade from a AMD r9 380 4gb to a ASUS ROG STRIX 1060 6gb, Not sure whether it's worth the £300 cost?

 

Anyone help would be appreciated :)

I wouldn't upgrade unless it was to a 1070. A lot more future proof with 8gb vram.

I've got the XFX version of the R9 380 4GB and I'm looking to upgrade at month's end. I was hoping to go the Vega 56 route since benchmarks seemed promising and it would fit in my budget ( I was expecting to pay $450 or so). But AMD seems to be messing up on supply and the market gouging from suppliers is outright criminal. I would go the 1070 route but market price for those are at $470 to$500 and just $60 more and you can get a  decent 1080. I'm seriously considering to just take the hit (there goes a kidney) and go for the 1080. These prices don't seem to be letting up any time soon.
