Note to Flight Sim World devs: I do like the new clouds and think they would look much better if the edge animation was slowed way down. As it is, it is much too fast and causes the creepy look my video portrays.  Link to my creepy cloud video thread here at Avsim:

They are aware of this and weather updates and tweaks are in the pipe line.

Actually, having looked at the trueSKY developer manual and all the stuff which can be changed, there is evidently quite a lot which can be done to alter how the clouds behave, so it looks to me like it will be relatively easy for DTG to change things in order to meet with most people's approval. Of course they have to balance that with performance in the simulator so it doesn't end up being a slideshow.

Thank you for that video. I have confidence that FSW will produce the best weather engine in any flight sim in the near future.

And that is why, among other reason's they are working on TrueSky and Flight Sim World in general.
