p3cv4 landing problem

All my flights go fine until I reach the point of guidance by the ILS and the frequencies given after that. I am using the co-pilot to tune the frequencies.

On nearing the ILS I am told to get established on it and let ATC know when I am established..I do that no problem.

Then I am told to contact (I am not sure if it is Tower or Approach) a certain frequency which my auto-copliot ignores, and if I dial it in manually it returns to the frequency already set, which is not the one asked for by ATC.

ATC keeps demanding the new frequency is set but no way can I do it, so I just land and that is the end of that.

This seems to happen on all my flights and I am sure it is something I am doing wrong but I can't see what it might be!

If any of you experts have a clue please send it my way!

what addons are in use? (a/c and scenery?) send the vox error log as well...

Thanks for replying Kevin.

I have used the Realair Duke  and PMDG 737 so far.

The scenery is Orbx England and Scotland with the global enhancements.

I will do a test flight tomorrow to generate an err.log to see if it helps.

when asked to confirm that I am established on the ILS glide path, should I do that when actually descending on the G/S or is the timing not critical?

Not 100% sure I'm a GA pilot in the main and have never used the copilot function (I like to do everything myself!)

If asked to confirm established on the ILS I would only do that when you actually are...

What was the airport scenery you were landing at?

A useful test might be to try at that same airport with another a/c and at a default airport as well to see if you get the same problem.  I cant think what might cause it right now, but maybe it could highlight where a problem is?

I am using the copilot function just to make sure it all works but I do try to do without it normally!

It happens at the three airports I have tried, Edinburgh, London City, and Glasgow but as all my scenery is Orbx I presume these airports are not default any more?

I will use a default a/c and disable some of the Orbx stuff and see what happens.

Well, I disabled the Orbx scenery and flew a default Beech Baron from EGPH to EGPF .

All went fine until nearing the ILS.

Was told to report when established on the ILS, whie waiting for the a/c to line up and intersect the G/S I was told to tune the radio to Glasgow..but the FO did nothing.

He would normally have done the tuning. I tried to tune the radio myself but it just reverted.

I reported established on the G/S, but from then on until touchdown "established on localiser" kept getting repeated until I exitted P3dv4 after landing.

So it doesn't seem to be an add-on issue as such but I will keep experimenting.

I made a log file but it is a bit large so I have added the last bit of this flight.

I see it says at one point "time limit exceeded for reporting the established on localiser".

Wonder if that means anything?!

It happens at the three airports I have tried, Edinburgh, London City, and Glasgow but as all my scenery is Orbx I presume these airports are not default any more?

I will use a default a/c and disable some of the Orbx stuff and see what happens.
