not all the ram usable ????

took out on old pc that has 8 gigz or ram installed and system info says only 3.97 of the 8 are usable ????  cpuz and other apps are saying 8 gigz of ram .available . any ideas????? windows 10 64 bit  ......

Might have a bad or not completely seated memory module. Check the BIOS and see what it reports as installed memory.

If you are In FSX, it is a 32 bit program, as such FSX can only use 4GB RAM.  This is why the new 64 Bit P3D has been greeted enthusiastically. It can use all 8 GB.

bios checks out at 8 gigz and the few fixes I know off wont solve the problem , ☹️☹️☹️ By the way im on FSW .

And to be sure you've got a 64bit version of Win10?
