Disabling scenery when flying

Hello,

I remember back in P3D V3 i was always told that disabling airports and scenery that i wasn't flying too or using would help performance and save a LOT of VAS. 

Obviously with V4 the worry of VAS isn't there, Would the sim still perform better turning off airports that are not being used? For example if i was flying from Spain to London Heathrow and i have Gatwick, Stansted, Luton payware scenery active i'd imagine it would be quite hard on the CPU / GPU. 

Just something i thought about but wasn't too sure if that would make a difference with V4.
