N747CE VTS35

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I did a flight with the Everts Air Cargo DC-6 N747CE in it's natural habitat,..... Alaska!

The route was a typical Everts Air route, flightno VTS35 from PANC to PAED to load military goods for the Long Range Radar Stations like PACZ.

Everts does a lot of flights for the armed forces. The DC-6 is the perfect plane for the short gravel stripes at these LRRS. The PMDG DC-6 is not an exeption on that, great fun!

One lovely landing at PACZ which can only be approached and land on RWY02 because of the hills in the surroundings. This type of flying on FSX is very hard. The airman of Everts do it almost daily in the hardest conditions. Real pioneers in the last frontier!

Try to do it yourself, such nice flying! You can find their routes on flightradar24.

Love this bird PMDG!!!!

I did some Buffalo Airways flights in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Although semi fictional - as they don't fly a DC-6 - it's pure fun. Yellowknife to Hay River and back.
