Dash 8 Cabin Pressure

Recommended Posts

can anyone tell me how to adjust cabin pressure in the Dash 8?  its the only warning I get on my annunciator panel when at altitude.

Thanks,

John

on the air conditioning panel:

bleeds 1+2 ON

bleed - norm

packs - auto (usually always in this position)

on the cabin altitude panel:

landing alt - set

cabin altitude - auto (usually always in this position)

typically: before start you set the bleeds to off/min ... after start you set the bleeds to on + min.. before takeoff set to off/min for maximum power..and then after takeoff back to on/norm.

cheers!

As above. It's most likely you forgot to turn the bleeds or packs on.
