Simconnect

Recommended Posts

On my new installation of RC4 for P3Dv4, I have the command/message box but it is now titled "Simconnect messages " ( or similar), whereas previously it had no title

I thought RC only used FSUIPC.

Is this correct? Could this be anything to do with the repeated failure of RC to connect to the Sim.although the window is there with the frequencies etc.  (Pressing the keys to request info has no effect).

Sometimes you wonder if you are getting too old for this Flight Sim lark!

It just dawned on me that there might be a key conflict with P3D and the keys I have used for ever for FSX (C+S+1 and C+S+2) and sure enough buried away in the depths of

combat plane commands, which I have never even looked at are those exact commands.

So I deleted them and RC$4 seems to be back to normal.

(Goes away and hides in corner)!

Just saw this:

Go into controls in P3Dv4 and delete or change the key presses which conflict with RC4.

Then RC4 will know and react to your input.
