IFR route change

Hi,

I was on an IFR flightplan. I requested a route change (dct to another waypoint on my route) and the controller issued a new clearance.

After I read back the new clearance, the controller said there was no flight plan. When trying to open my flight plan there was an unhandled exception.

I canceled IFR and try to reopen but no succes.

Phillippe,

Could you please send me your log file so I can see the interaction.  It's possible your readback of the DirectTo clearance was incorrectly interpreted as a full clearance readback, which would mess things up.

Log files are located in:

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs

where <UserName> is your PC user name

A new one is created each time you start Pilot2ATC.

Yes, the log confirms that the readback was recognized as an IFR Clearance readback, likely due to the phrases recognized not being those expected.   It Expected:

This is a good scenario to use SayIt to readback so it will more likely be interpreted correctly.

One more thought. 

If you are reading the suggested phrase and it is not being recognized properly, it would be a good idea to do the Language training on the Grammar Help screen.  This helps Windows figure out how you say most of the words encountered in a typical flight. 

Even if you do not have an accent, this training can help recognition accuracy.
