FS9 Reshaded FS9

Here are some more examples of how Reshade can change the looks of FS9. I've only used 2 of all the shaders available, Adaptive Sharpen and Ambient Light.

All images are straight from the simulator, only cropped a little.

Should maybe add that I use a GTX 970 4GB and my nVidia Inspector AA settings are 16xS + 8xSuperSampling with the usual 16x Anisotropic Filtering.

Handles heavy clouds no problems, always >60fps in any weather. Fps provided by i2500k @ 4.5Ghz.

I still use FS9 with my Soft Horizons Add-on and lots of virtual traffic.  It's a smooth simulator and I have some very good aircraft I fly in it, mainly ultralights.

Hi John! I tried a few different sky textures today, but came back to Soft Horizons in the end. Some sunsets are way to purple though imo, but the smooth horizon effect

is the most important thing. You can always change date if you don't like the color of the sky that particular day, as the sky textures repeat every 10 days.

I'd like HDE v2 colors with a smooth horizon. Gonna have to look into that...

Never heard of it, but I'm going to check it out. Very nice shots indeed! I still love FS9, but that may be because I can't say goodbye to all that money I spent on addons! :-)

That might be true. Reshade could be using a shadermodel that your card doesn't support.
