Flashing Texutres????

Hi all, Just got myself a new machine specs:-AMD Dual core 4400+1024MGB RAM (2*512mb)2*256 Nvidia 6800 le80 Gb HD2405 Dell FPW MonitorInstalled FS and I find that my textures are flashing, the autogen and textures on the aeroplanes is flashing. i have installed the latest drivers for the graphics card, any suggestions??Thanks UKP

do a search here for shimmering....there are many solutions. try lowering your fs9's mip-map to 5 or 4...i have an ATI card...so the settings are different from your's...but there is a way to get rid of that flicker. -feng

Hey, Thanks for the quick response I'm currently playing around with AA and AF and have set mip maps to 4, seems to be working, no-where near as bad now.Thanks for the help!

I just got my hands on an 6800GS XxX edition, and had a few problems too, so in the Nvidia options I slided up both AA/AF to the max. works like a charm, NO blurries what so ever, the only downside to this is that in the create a flight menu you loose the aircraft picture. Looked up the problem and saw that its something with Nvidia, but then again, I can live with it since graphicly it looks "delicious" :9Moh.
