FSW Lear 35

Recommended Posts

Have you tried the FSW Lear 35 or XP jets Lear 25?  I think the lear25 doesn't fully work in v4 but I have the FSW working.  Both have GTN support and both have good systems

Can the ASP4 weather radar be used in place of the milviz radar in the FSW L35?

I checked out the FSW Lear 35 which I read lots of good things about but the graphics don't please me and flying in VR it becomes even more important to have graphics that will convince you you're actually in a real aircraft or you're loose much of the overall immersion IMO.

Then try the XP Lear 25 - visuals are very realistic!

I am waiting for their P3Dv4 update. One problem, I emailed them a week ago with a question and never received a reply so hope their customer service fairs better.

It's works fine for me - the v3 cockpit lighting is bugged if you use dynamic lighting but otherwise it's fine

the v4 native is supposed to be out shortly.

I keep going to that site XP and salivating for their  Lear but sure like to know what the holdup is there for v4 compatibility.

On the product page which Ryan's link guides you to, look at the second text panel on the left side.  About halfway down this panel you will find this note:

"Note for Prepar3D® v4 users: The GLJ Model 25 SE v2.1 addon now includes a native version for the new Prepar3D® v4 simulation platform. A special installer for Prepar3D® v4 is available from our "Downloads" section and the update is free for registered users."

Thank you, Ryan, for bringing this page to our attention. Now we have a really decent, even if somewhat old, biz jet to fly in P3DV4! 😀

Cheers,

Tom

There's a 750 modification for the Lear 25. Where can that be found?

The mod for the GTN 750 I believe is part of the install package, at least it was for v2.0?

Wow. If it works I'm on board. Though I don't see the noted patch indicated above in the download section for v4 compatibility. Maybe it has to be purchased first?

I think some clarification is needed here. The GLJ Model 25 SE v2.1  is stated to have a patch which I don't see in the download section. Further this model cannot even be bought yet. In addition, the Special edition 25 v2.0 appears to have no patch available yet. Once these are properly for sale (more particularly the SE v2.1 which I'm interested in) I'll look at the purchase. To bad neither are really ready for P3Dv4 yet.
