Where to store an ALT (altitude) change Airport data?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

In FSX when an airport altitude was corrected  the . bgl was placed in the Scenery WORLD scenery folder. Exanple UAAT.ADEP3.FV.ALT.BGL

With the new organization of P3D V4 and the updates to new levels (from v4 to V42 ie) the content of the Scenery world scenery folder will be modified by the installation of the new contents.

My question : where to install the Airport altitude .bgl to avoid the replacement by an upgrade.

Thanks in advance

These stubs still work in the similar folder, that is <p3d> \Scenery\World\Scenery.  However, you can create your own addon scenery folder and include it in a "global" add-on xml.  My global add-on.xml file includes the \scenery\world as well as autogen and simobjects.

I am still using the default location because ADE puts stubs there and does not have an option to change that behavior.
