This just seems seems awfully good for the price!??? Anyone see any potential problems?

Looks like a very high-spec system with quality components. Even if you built it yourself using exactly the same parts (using PCPartPicker) it would cost you $2,484 so you're only paying $16 to have it made and tested professionally (and, presumably, with a warranty). Amazing value! It would be interesting to find out who makes the PSU as not all Gold-certified PSUs are created equal.

Good PSUs are relatively cheap, so If it's a junky off-brand, it would still be a great deal. I wonder if the 8700K data leak is impacting 7700K prices already?

These Power Spec PCs are sold thru Micro Centers and I'm going to be about 3mi from the one in Denver next week. My current i5-2500k sandy bridge rig is 6+ years old and, although I have FSX running quite well, it is stumbling and having problems with addon scenery's etc. My hesitation is Windows 10 and the problems with Saitek. I have the yoke and tq and have read many threads about the problems with drivers. I hate to leave W7! It works so well.

I was sick when I read Microsoft was forcing W10 onto you if you moved to Kaby Lake. Just got a new 7700k machine. Haven't installed any sims yet or my Saitek HOTAS. Fingers crossed I can get it to work.

You and me both!  Thanks for the well wishes. I'm hopeful. In XP11, I run the X55 with no profile, just raw buttons and a Lau script for some aircraft specific mappings. Do that should work. P3D may prove more of a challenge .

You can build that system yourself for roughly $1900 in the US (I'm certified/overly qualified for building them), so having someone do it for you and (hopefully) warranty it for $300 isn't a bad deal at all.  But I'd be sure to check the company out and especially the warranty. There have been quite a number of high profile cases just in flight sim (and bunches outside of our hobby) where people got ripped off pretty bad. 

I'm surprised that Jetline can get that much for that system... if they're selling any number of them then I'm in the wrong business!

It's my understanding that Jetline installs the sims and optimize them for you as well and provide an elevated level of support. To some it's worth it. For me no , I build my own too.

I run an older PowerSpec computer of the same tier and it has an EVGA gold power Supply.   I have had very good luck with PowerSpec so far ( 2 years old).

But you're generally paying at least $1000 over the cost of an identical self-build for that privilege. Most issues that members have are usually solved here quickly and, more importantly, for free!

I used the PCPartPicker US site for my self-build estimate in an earlier post and I'd be amazed if you could knock nearly $600 off the cost for an identical system - by identical I mean, for example, not just any 1080 ti but that specific 1080 ti. Whilst you can occasionally shop around and find the odd thing slightly cheaper, PCPartPicker usually gives a pretty good indication of the cheapest prices for specific components.

I have a 2 yr old i7 4790 980 gpu power spec from microcenter. Only problem I have is get a quick flash on my 40 inch 4K tv every now and then. Other than that I like it. I would buy another power spec and use regular ssds..

I bought this system, but am unsure where to load the sims(probably FSX and maybe FSW). Years ago Nick N said, for FSX, any raid config was not advised.

1) Should I un-raid the 2 SSD's to have two separate 256Gb SSD's? (don't understand what *raid* is or how it works)

2) Should I load both sims, plus add-ons, to the Raid configured SSD's, along with the OS?

3) What add-ons can/should go on the 1Tb mechanical drive?

Bruce I just got it yesterday.I bought a 500 ssd for my p3d,install it but the Samsung magician software says its not running at peak performance. I think its because of the raid set up. If I can't fix this by Monday it will be returned. 

1. I would not thats where the OS is.

2.Your sims will load faster if you install on the ssd's but the drive my fill up fast depending on how much scenery you have. Or everything can go on the 2Tb drive.I use that drive for some addons and storage.

3. Any Add-ons.

That's an interesting dilemma you've got. With RAID SSD for your boot drive, this thing must come up in an instant! It really improves sim loading time to load the sim and scenery off an SSD, but with 256Gb of SSD, that would not be enough (at least for me) with add-ons. If it were my machine, I'd probably leave the RAID and install the sim(s) on the C drive and purchase an additional 1Tb SSD for all my scenery and maybe add-on aircraft too. The OS and the basic sims are not that large, so 256GB would probably be fine. I'd use the HDD for backups and other occasional use applications.
