If anyone wants to test prior to Saturday and do a few installs, uninstalls, reinstalls etc..

I'll subscribe to that. Name the day.

How about after your lunch? 1400 or so? That would go perfect with the morning coffee.
Remember to put a couple of aircraft back to stock.. (the PC-12 & maybe a recip?)
That would be a good test.
I have an appointment at 1700, so anything between 1300 & 1530 for a starting time should work.

I downloaded and installed 1.4.6, assuming it was the latest release.  Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Thanks Roman.  So now I have two icons - a JoinFS (presumably 1.4.6) and a JoinFS Test (the one you just recommended).  Which one do we use for the race- or practice?

Perfect,,, Test is the one that will (according to Ron) be the active.
Peter, the  author, does a great job with the installers. Whether test or release. They are 2 separate entities. Nothing gets crossed.
Do the aircraft inventory scan, just in case.

Looking forward to flyin with you again.

Test-Version 1.4.9 is available!

And it has a VERY handy 'Scan for models on start up' feature.

Plus another one - not tested yet. It cleans out the aliases after each use otherwise it gets really cluttered.
Ref1 - "Model matching data now cleared when disconnecting from the simulator.
