I just heard what Bel said and I completely agree. I´m at work now, I´ll watch the rest when I get home this evening. 

Btw Hiflyer, you pretty much have the PC that I want to upgrade, what frames do you get in VR? is it smooth? I have a 4770k and a 980ti and I`m quite happy with the frames but have annoying micro stutterts in addon airports when flying with detailed planes like carenados. but smooth as butter when using a less detailed default P3D ones.

I would rate vr smoothness as

1. Aerofly FS 2
2. DCS
3. FSX
4. P3DV3
5. X-Plane

This will vary based on your computer's specifications, but I think it will remain generally true for most people.

I will tell you my experience though: The flyinside FSX combo is the nicest version of VR on the esp platform. Its clearer, faster, the clouds don't spin, and it has almost no issues with artifacts.

Given a choice of flying in VR in P3D or FSX, I would enjoy FSX more right now. Your milage may vary.

Steam version is preferred, but it apparently works with boxed version as well, according to Flyinside.
