I have just enjoyed my first FlyTampa experience (taxi/take off/pattern/landing/taxi at EHAM Amsterdam Schiphol), and I am astonished at the performance in P3D v3.3.5 on my PC. I was expecting framerates to struggle with high detail levels (and a full suite of detailed AI planes), but it was mostly super smooth from pushback to parking. I am very impressed, considering that this is such a huge, detailed airport with lots of 3D buildings and other objects surrounding it. I also wondered about VAS limitations, but I did not experience any problems in this department.

A very pleasant surprise, and this is with nothing more than a 2GB GeForce GTX 770 GPU.

Yes. FlyTampa is top notch and EHAM is super.

I have encountered a minor problem with this airport. There is an "orphaned ILS" in the AFD file, and when I ask for landing instructions (in my modified 18L/18C configuration), I am told to land on Runway 18 Water This is associated with the orphaned ILS mentioned above, and it is extremely annoying! For some reason, this did not happen when I made a quick circuit of the airport in the Quality Wings Avro RJ70, but I have tried the same test flight three times today in the PMDG 737-600NGX, and every time I was asked to land on Runway 18 Water My modified AFD file has Runway 18L open for take offs, and Runway 18C for landings (which is simply the configuration that I want to use for these short test flights, as it allows me to fly a nice, easy pattern). Like I said, it worked fine in the Avro RJ70, but for some reason it is messing me about today.

I am unable to delete this orphaned ILS, so does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Perhaps the default Afcad files work without that issue ...

Yes its amazing. Even more amazing is there Corfu. You can set it to VFR for GA plans or set it up with less detail for Airliners. 

Corfu is imo the single best addon out there. And that's saying someone as flightbeam are amazing, Orbx LOWI etc are all up there.
