Roll sensitivity can it be adjusted in the CFG file?

Recommended Posts

PFC yoke In prepar 3D works, but very  low sensitivity, need to move it a lot to get the ailerons to move.

Elevator is fine, just roll.

Sensitivity is at 100% in game.

Can it be adjusted like to 150% in the CFG file?

If yes , which file?

From what I remember way back with FSX, the .mdl file is what you are looking for not .cfg file. There were programs around that would let you mess about in it and quite a few graphs explaining what each setting did (with suggestions).

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Make sure you configure controller first.

Inside the aircraft there's  an aircraft.cfg file. Back it up.

Look for this section:

[flight_tuning]
cruise_lift_scalar = 1
parasite_drag_scalar = 1
induced_drag_scalar = 1
elevator_effectiveness = 2
aileron_effectiveness = 1
rudder_effectiveness = 1
pitch_stability = 2
roll_stability = 1
yaw_stability = 1
elevator_trim_effectiveness = 1
aileron_trim_effectiveness = 1
rudder_trim_effectiveness = 1
hi_alpha_on_roll = 0
hi_alpha_on_yaw = 1
p_factor_on_yaw = 0.3
torque_on_roll = 0.3
gyro_precession_on_roll = 0.3
gyro_precession_on_yaw = 1

Lower numbers make the controls less effective.

A pilot is always learning and I LOVE to learn.
