FSXBA Hornet Exhaust black squares though opaque?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi Steve and all,

I've got this on the exhaust of the FSXBA Hornet (Latest release V.17.30) but had it on V.16 onwards.

I've converted effects post install within DX10 Fixer.

Thanks in advance.

Oh yes, I always forget that little jewel in the DX 10 Fixer.

Will give it a go and report back Steve. Thanks.

Did this get sorted?

It did and it didn't Steve.

I've got another aircraft that exhibited identical behaviour as in pic above (JustFlight Warrior II).

I read on their forum about disabling the effects in aircraft.cfg one by one until eliminated.

This also works for the hornet. With all effects disabled for both aircraft they both no longer exhibit the blocky square exhaust.

However, both now create enormous plumes of white smoke (rain/ snow?) on touchdown on a bone dry surface.
