The topic was hidden. There's a point at which a simple discussion becomes technical support which is beyond the scope of this forum.

The suggestion of a support forum is a good one.

Further tech support and any advertising will also be shut down.

Just as a reminder, Nico's app is freeware but it requires a separate  payware  product in order to work properly.

Jim Young is the forum master - perhaps Nico can  get a support forum set up.

I put the topic back into the forum some time ago.  It is locked and the reason for locking is shown.

To my surprise I read in my profile that I'm a Commercial Member!?

I am with AVSIM since 2002 and have developed several freeware programs for the Flight Sim Community, such as: FSCONV, Lekseecon, VMRGenerator, PSXseecon and PSXseeconTraffic.

What makes the Moderators think I'm a commercial member??.

Please correct this.

Thank you,

Nico Kaan.

As well as that Kiek.. There's a similar addon over on the FSX forum for Ship AI Traffic.. Once they sort out your 'Commercial' status all should be right again, here's hoping ///

While Adminstrators are always right, I am a bit worried here, too. Nico provides an excellent program for the community - for free. He also has his own support forum under

http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=338

where I posted several times and which is indeed more geared towards technical aspects. He is maintaining this forum as a free service to the community as well. I do see no reason to classify him as a Commercial Member.

Kind regards, Michael

Probably because you need to buy a RealTraffic license.

But Nico's PSXseeconTraffic is Freeware.

And all questions are about his app. And as it is P3D only it needs to be in the P3D forum or a free subsection....

Just my 2 cents

Gerard

Agree. But if I download a freeware airport for P3D, I still need a payware Lic from Lockheed Martin. In fact, I see know difference from Nico's app than downloading the freeware door guage for the Majestic Q400.

Indeed. My Program also needs a Windows 10 license ... ;-)
