Windows Denied X-plane 11.05 Graphic Card Access

Recommended Posts

For the past several days I have been receiving a X-plane denied graphic card access message and now several crash to desk top. I have  X-plane 11.05 and Nvidia driver 385.41 running on a GTX 980 card. Never had any problems like this before. Also noted that x-plane 11 does not show up under the applications list in windows 10. Is this because the program  just sits on the desktop?

Did a google search and there they said the fix was everything from reloading the OS, graphic drivers, the effected program, and countless other diagnostic adjustments.

Any idea on how to really fix it if in fact I have a real graphic denial problem?

I guess no one has had a similar problem since there were no replies. I turned off the "Gaming Mode" in the Windows 10 update and so far no weird messages that the program could not find the video card. Maybe this was the fix?
