Prepar3d v4 - vPilot AI models

Recommended Posts

Hi guys :-)

So I have been sitting up for literally 6 hours trying to figure this thing out... I have been able to get P3D v4 now and have bought some nice addons like AS16 etc etc. But I can't seem to understand how I get the model matching to work in vPilot so I can see other pilots with their liveries and a/c types....I tried with the VMRgenerator but I could not get that to work...

Does anyone know a  simple and quick way to get a good model pack and how I get it to work so that it automatically knows which livery to display according to their callsign/type?

I am not a tech guy so really technical things like .xml files is not really what i'm looking for..

There has gotta be a simple solution?

This has given me a real headache and I'm stuck :bengong:

If you are looking for easy soultions, there is only the payware option. Ultimate Traffic Live might be for you. It comes will all the models and vpilot will detect them automatically. That's it.

Okey :-) does vpilot identify and create rule sets for it aswell? :)

Hi Guys

I have recently started using P3Dv4 and noticed that vPilot only displays the default aircraft (Bombardier CRJ 700) as set in the 'advanced' setting of the Model matching tab. Of note is that the only set I have relates to SimObject/Airplanes (125models, 96 identified). So based on what I have read to date, I need a 3rd party 'traffic' add-on in order to see actual aircraft types as they are. Is this correct? If so, what do others recommend as a good AI add-on?

cheers
