FSEarthTiles and KML inland water

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone out there as successfully created photo scenery with FSEarthTiles and KML?  More specifically, creating water masks for inland bodies of water.  Lakes.  I have tried several different experiments with it and can't get it to generate water masks.  I'd like to keep the photo real texture but have it be water in the sim.  I save my AreaKML.kml file.  In Google Earth, It as an Area polygon in it that defines the area I want.  And, most recently, I just tried using the CoastTwo/DeepWaterTwo polygons for lakes.  When I run this through FSEarthTiles w/ the KML file option set on, I'm not getting any water generated in the AreaMask bmps that are generated.  Anyone use this technique successfully that would care to help me out?

Thanks,

Kevin

I was always under the impression that FSET only introduced transparency masking through kml.

I used QGIS to export the kml as a shp file so it could be imported into SBuilderX and the appropriate water elements created there.
