Out of Memory after long Haul

Recommended Posts

I get a OOM after just at landing after a 12 hour simulation..(yes very frustrating).

I'm using FS9 with W764 bit.  FS Dreamteam JFK, ASE.

Is there a treatment?

Thanks.

Lowering your settings is the only way to avoid an OOM unfortunately. That or reduce the number of taxing addons you use.

You've also posted this in the wrong forum. Assuming you were flying the Boeing 747-400, this thread would have been better off going here, as the Boeing 747-400 you would have been flying is a very old version seeing as you referenced FS9. This forum is for the recently released Boeing 747-400 V3 for FSX and P3D.

If you have a strong enough system you might consider moving to P3D v4 which is 64bit and will help alleviate OOMs if you have ample system memory.

Otherwise try lowering your setting as suggest.

BTW, this the forum for the newer 747 not the original FS9 version. That section is located in the PMDG Legacy area.
