Possible new system

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am looking at two possible new systems:

System one has a i7 7700k cpu with a Nvidia 1050ti with 4 GB

System two has a i5 7600k cpu with a Nvidia 1060 with 6gb

Which system is the better choice for FSX, p3d and x plane 11?

Thanks in advance

I think either one will work, the higher the cpu speed the better.  I have an I7 7700 3.6 GHZ cpu with a 1060 GTX 3 GB GPU and I am running P3dV4 and XP11 with stellar performance and I can run complex aircraft.  Make sure both systems have at least 8 GB of RAM, that is a great help with sim performance.

What screen resolution do you plan to use? The 1050 Ti will probably limit you in P3D and X-Plane because of the 4Gb of VRAM. I would say definitely go for the 1060 card.
