RJTT Flashing textures?

Hi all;

Recently I've been flying in Japan in P3D v4. When I load into RJTT I see rapidly flashing textures on the screen. This ONLY happens in RJTT. If it's during the day the flashes remain until I leave the area. If it's night at RJTT, I will load in and the flashes are black. Also at night if I move the camera beyond a certain point I will get a menu.dll CTD using Technobrain's payware. Default RJTT will run day or night but the flashes are omnipresent. Anyone else have this experience?

Hardware: i6700k, 16GB RAM, 1080GTX

OS: Win10

Software: Technobrain RJTT or default RJTT, ORBx Global Vector, PTA2.52, Envtex, ASCA

I had the same problem, you have to disable some files in orbx folder, I forgot which one it was, check my thread I made last month on how to fix it.

The temprary "solution": "the file you need to disable is 8519_OBJ_ExtrusionBridges_Railway.bgl  in FTX_VECTOR_OBJl [...] that's good, too because I won't miss a few railroad bridges while ORBX fixes this one"

As for the night-time crash of Technobrain's RJTT in P3D v4, there is also a solution. (Luckily, I've been able to secure a copy of the RJTT v2 CD-ROM box even here in Europe using Amazon Japan. :cool:)

As I've mention in my other post (see here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/518270-japan/?page=3 ) you need to remove four files from the scenery directory: rjtt_sfl_v_22.bgl, rjtt_sfl_v_23.bgl, rjtt_sfl_v34l.bgl and rjtt_sfl_v_34R.bgl

As soon as these files are gone, Technobrain's RJTT v2 runs beautifully in P3D v4.

Apparently (like in Flytampa) this removes some approach light systems, but so far I haven't found any side effect, I still have fully illuminated runways and approach lights.

That's rare. I don't have such issue. I load PMDG 777 in RJTT rwy34R and rwy05 to takeoff going to RJAA rwy34L regardless if night or day time. I never saw flashing textures in all around airport.

I don't have ORBx Global Vector, PTA2.52, Envtex, ASCA but UTLive. So, I believe somewhere from your addons is giving that scenery problem, I guess ......

All those files still activated in my P3D v4 without any issues like flashing or shimming mentioned in this thread.
