Doesn't get much better than basin and range to the Cascades.  My last flight was from Redding, circling Mt. Shasta, then down to Napa.

Many thanks for commenting.....California has extreme desert, extreme mountain range, extreme ocean front, serious farming, worlds 2nd largest supervolcano and all close by!
