September 15, 20178 yr Thanks for the wonderful images. When I was a young man I flew C-130's out of Pope AFB for various sorties and the area you flew through is amongst my favorite places on earth to fly. I only wish I could have GA'd the area like you did. Thanks again! I9 12900K @5.2Ghz 64 GB DDR4, RTX 4090, Win 11 Pro, 15 TB on 5 SSD's

September 16, 20178 yr I've been in several Tornadoes in my early life. Seemed to be whenever I went back home to the midwest a Tornado would happen. The night my dear cousin was born there was a Tornado, we had traveled to Illinois to see my aunt and uncle. It was a thunderous night as we stayed in the cellar. The year we moved to California our house in Illinois was hit with a Tornado, we had some exterior damage, that was back in 1966, it tore the roof off our school. We decided we had enough of Illinois weather and moved to California. But in 1980 Napa was hit with a small F1 Tornado on a golf course, uprooted trees and tore off roof tiles. Throughout all of them I managed to stay alive, had a guardian angel looking out over me. And I was hit with earthquakes, especially in 1989 and 1999. The 1989 earthquake cracked our chimney and foundation, the chimney had to be destroyed. I am glad I live in relatively stable Arizona, we might feel the big one in California when it comes, but we are some distance away from the fault lines. John
September 16, 20178 yr I purchased MegaScenery SouthWest V2, it will blend in with my California scenery V2 at the resolution I like. Will take some time to get it installed but I am excited to expand my P3d sim Horizons out to my Colorado scenery. It will give me years of flights to come, to explore. I have it on a separate drive so it does not take up much space. John

HLJAMES I am halfway done with the Southwest downloads, have Arizona and Nevada done so it gives me contiguous scenery from California out to the Utah/New Mexico border. I will try downloading the other states today. It's a long process, takes a lot of patience! But still better than trying to create it myself. John
