Lack of enforcement of file upload rules

Hi.  I have uploaded a number of scenery files to the AVSIM library over the past couple of years and, per AVSIM instructions, I have always included a readme file which contains my e-mail address.  Here's a quote from AVSIM's file upload rules:

"Your uploaded zip archive must contain a '.txt' (plain text) file IN ENGLISH, containing installation instructions, your email address and/or a link to your active support forum in order to provide technical support to all who download your file, plus any other important information. Note: Failure to provide the above information will result in your file being deleted."

I am wondering, then, why I am finding a surprising number of files in the library with readme files which do not contain an e-mail address for support, or in some cases no readme file at all.  As an example, just today I came across several AFCAD scenery from Matthew Ward with no support e-mail.

If I'm required to provide my e-mail per written AVSIM rules, which frankly I'd rather not do, then everyone else who uploads files to the AVSIM library should be required to do the same.

I'd appreciate an answer as to why the upload rules aren't being properly enforced.

Dave,

If this is the case, then I will take responsibility. I get bunches of files per day and I try to peruse them as much as possible to ensure the rules are properly met. If you let me know the ones that you have found, I will be sure to take the proper action to ensure that the rules are properly enforced.

Thanks Brian.  I'm not looking for anyone to blame, but I was getting a bit frustrated at finding library files with no support e-mail. Plus I was beginning to wonder if I really need to follow this rule the next time I submit a file.

I want to thank you for volunteering to take on this task of checking and approving all the files that get submitted to the library.  Your work is much appreciated.
