New FD for Carenado SR22

Recommended Posts

Can someone share a new air file for the SR22?

This is a beautiful airplane for p3d v4, but the FDs needs some tweaking.

Thanks.

FDE hasn't changed between P3D and FSX, what changes you think are necessary?

It's difficult to make a new one if you don't tell us what's wrong with the old one.

Maybe a cfg file change is sufficient?

When you put the first notch of flap down the nose should initially pitch up. I also find that the plane's pitch is too sensitive. I played with the sensitivity figures and it feels better.

I thought that maybe there was a community improved FD file.

Thanks.

That's rather unusual for a low wing plane. Any link ?

However you can change that in cfg file in the flaps section to your liking. No need for an air file change in this case.

I fly the 22 in real life and the nose pitches quite aggressively when putting the flaps out. needs a lot of forward trim. And she'll pitch again if you relaxe the forward pressure. Full flap on base leg is about 5-6degrees nose down to compensate
