Pacsim KSLC

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I am running Pacsim KSLC in v4.  Would anyone know how to disable the surrounding photo scenery? I am having blurring issues.

Without seeing the files themselves, I would look at your scenery folder and look at the largest sized files.  They would usually be the photoreal scenery.  Keep them in the folder but rename some of them from 'filename.bgl' to something like  'filename.bgl.ORG' and check out the results.  Then you can always re-activate them if they are not the correct files.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, EVGA GeForce 3080 Ti, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit

There's a whole bunch of bgl files that start with Photo_kslc, I would guess that's them.

If you have blurries, try deleting Prepar3d.cfg  (after backing it up) I suspect you have added some entries in there.

or your PC is kinda old? Maybe?

Yes... those big bgls within \scenery are usually photo texture files...and try it after rennaming the .bgl to something else.
