QualityWings 787 Feedback

Recommended Posts

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have not seen any topic in this forum on this new release.  That surprises me considering how many people flew their 757.  Since I long left FSX for P3D and I know it has not yet been released for P3D V4, I was wondering what the people that took the leap to purchase this think.  I have not seen any reviews or demos...Thank you for your time.

Maybe because it is not yet released?

This ^^^

And....because there's already a thread on this somewhere. I know because I remember posting in it.

Best regards,

Not released yet, but it's on my list to buy as soon as it's available for P3D V4 ... have a few aircraft on my list to buy when available for P3D V4 ... MJC Q400, FSLab A3xx, PMDG J41, maybe even an AS A3xx ... all in the works and my guess (a guess nothing more) is all will be available for holiday season (I hope).

The aircraft I miss the most is the MJC Q400, wonder if it will still retain true surround sound support?

I enjoyed QW's 146 more than their 757 (probably because I used to fly on 146 very frequently back in the early 90's and even got into the cockpit a few times).  That 146 can takeoff on some very short runways.

Cheers, Rob.

I think the thread was moved to the fsx forum

+1.  Got it for P3Dv3 and desperately await its conversion to v4.

If we're able to buy the base version (FSX) and get the P3Dv4 one at an upgrade fee then I'm tempted to install it in P3Dv2.5 which currently is my QW Sim.

As soon as I have the MJC Q400 and FSL A320, I will uninstall P3Dv3 and make some more breathing room on my harddrive.

Just to have the Q400 in P3Dv4 is going to make it hard to fly anything else.

Their announcement on Facebook just now:

Folks,
The last days and weeks all of us worked very long hours to meet the deadline we set ourselves.
We had planned for a release on September 21st but we still have open items that we feel must be addressed before the team can agree to a 'GO' for release.
Although we are close, we do not feel the 787 product will be ready for release next weekend.
We'll be working our butts off in the coming days to deliver the plane as soon as possible.

My thoughts:  Don't create another 717 or CRJ scenario by rushing the release to meet an arbitrary date.  Take your time and do it right the best you can.

Since moving to P3D I miss flying the PMDG J41 and Coolsky DC-9.

You should love the upcoming Dash 8 Q400 and Leonardo Maddog MD-80 Series for P3DV4!!!

Oh yeah, forgot about that incoming!  So many aircraft and so little time ... I need to retire.

Cheers, Rob.

The only problem with retiring is that one typically has more time to spend money but less money to spend. But your probably a billionaire Rob so that won't effect you. I myself am only a millionaire and my wife thinks its all hers.
