PMDG 747 can't find options DLL Win 10

Recommended Posts

Hi there , I am new to the Avsim forum, but I have a major problem with my boxed PMDG 747-400X Queen of the Skies add-on for Fsx. And I am very lost as to how I could fix this and really need help. So here is some more detailed information, I have an older boxed copy of FSX (purchased 2011)  running on Windows 10 ( Not the Anniversary update as this does not work at all for my Pc ) . And have a boxed copy of the PMDG 747-400X (not v3) purchased 2013/2014, also I am currently running an older version of Steves Dx10 fixer (2.3)  and Nvidia Inspector ( Latest release). I also have a Nvidia 980TI ( 16GB 2666mhz Ram , I5 6600k 3.5 Ghz)  running the latest 385.69 graphic driver. But whenever I start Fsx I get this errror message  :

that I can select yes or no from, if I select yes the simulator crashes, if I select no it does not crash, but crashes when I select the 747-400 from the menu  ( any version), it crashes as shown here:

Also it prompts me to repair Microsoft Redistributable  2008 C++ :

Also before install it also  says "your Fsx version is newer than SP2/ Acceleration", although I have the boxed copy. I have also tried fixing this problem myself ( uninstall/ reinstall, repair, etc )  , but to no avail, and the 747 was working fine for a while even with Dx10 fixer and Nvidia Inspector ( No issues or problems with other fsx aircraft and payware aircraft) . Then it just stopped working , so any help would be appreciated. Besides I  also do not want to buy the PMDG 747 again as I am saving up for Orbx packages   and possibly in future Prepare3d ( on a tight budget as I am finishing school this year) , i've been flight simming for many years already since 2009 ( on FS2004) and I have not really had any issues like this before.  Thanks
