September 30, 20178 yr A friend of mine, who has now passed on, gained fame as an aerial photographer. He was known for his photographs of the mud flats. He was the first pilot to hand over control of an aircraft to me, in his famed brushed aluminum Cessna. On another flight, he took me up so I could take pictures of the mudflats and complimented me on my photographs. I was told by other pilots that he almost never invited others to fly with him, but a friend and I washed his aircraft and he awarded us with his flights. Sadly MSE doesn't show the mudflats, but they do display the ones near San Jose. Here's a link about Bill: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Garnett_(photographer) John

October 2, 20178 yr It's always amazing HLJames when you combine your wonderful scenery shots of the US with the V-Tailed Bonanza. This plane seems to be made for this country! Regards, Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
