Recommended Posts

I just came across this info at the org forum in the airplane development news section, Wow such a great news and surprise! The team doing this port is telling the project will be freeware.

That's amazing news.  I just installed X-Plane 11 last week (finding lots to like about it) and was looking through available DC-3s.  But in my past rounds with X-Plane, I never found one - not even the excellent Leading Edge Simulations version - that worked for me quite as well as Manfred's/Jan's.  Looking forward to giving it a test drive.

Version 2.4.0 updates (XP10 and XP11) have been posted introducing new night lighting and a lot of minor updates.

Aeroworx Douglas C-47(DC-3)

Again, thank you Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and Team for giving us permission to port this magnificent aircraft to X-Plane.

A word from one user: "May I complement you on what must be the best example of this aircraft ever produced. Simply Magnificent."
